Went on a roadtrip to Moab, UT with my brother and his girlfriend but arrived at night so had no idea what to expect in the morning. Looked up a quick trail near her house and even though it was only 8 AM, it was already really hot! Gotta get up earlier tomorrow.

Rock climbing with the GoPro
Finally figured out that the GoPro was having problems with the SD card and traded it out for something a bit more beefier. Got this still from Gary as he handles the crux on the first pitch of Cozyhang on the Dome in Boulder Canyon.

Starry night
I managed to get a decent time-lapse of the night time stars from my back porch. Lit up clouds from the city actually made it more interesting!

Article on bouldering in the NYT
Here’s a great write-up in the New York Times on bouldering, which is a form of climbing which you don’t use ropes just a big rock! It’s a great way to practice and convenient if you don’t live near mountains…just find a place to try to climb.
